Excellent service and great food

Haven't been to Jim's in a little while, but ended up going with my mother my aunt and my brother still has the same great charm I can remember from being a kid. Food was great service was awesome and the new owners were around with the past owners checking on the people who were eating ensuring everything was good which it was.

Local restaurant, local fare, average quality; service and prices are excellent.

*Update...Have been there a couple times since the new owners took over and have had good experiences. They updated the look a little bit and FINALLY added a tip option to the POS terminal. But as of yet, the food isn't as good as it used to be. I will say that every time I go back, it has gotten better and that they do indeed listen to feedback from their customers.Keep on getting better and plz NEVER change the gravy! Lol :-)

Excellent souvlaki, wonderful and pleasant service at a decent price! I have dined at Jim's many times in the past and will again, many times to come.

Been going for years. Will never return. Would not accept a reasonable change to an order. 98% do, and obviously want my business. So I'll make everyone happy and go elsewhere. To the new business owners a small suggestion. Don't let your cooks scare return customers away. The server was great and handled the situation well. She gets 5 stars.

Great service but menu is too big

A definite go-to when you need something greasy. The large take-out poutine comes in a freakin' pie plate!

We had a pleasurable experience yesterday at Jim's. We cannot thank the staff and owners enough for their fabulous hospitality. The food was outstanding and the plates are insanely full ..... No complaints what so ever!! This was for a party of about 40 people. Remarkable service!! Thanks again 😜

Friendly atmosphere with good food.

We are new to Arnprior. I hope all the restaurants around here are as good as Jim's. The turkey dinner special was cooked perfectly and everything that the rest of my family orders looked great and was presently large. It was worth staying around for dessert as well.

Here for a friend's birthday. Service was fast and friendly and the food was old school and big portions. Everyone really enjoyed it. They made me a Greek vegetarian platter that was not on the menu. Really appreciated.

First time being to Jim’s since new management. Arrived at 730 pm on a Friday night. Shortly after our arrival the waitress flipped the window sign to closed and we were rushed through our entire meal in about 20 mins so they could close at 8 pm. Not to mention that she screwed up on both my husbands and my order. Will not be back again.

I grew up in Arnprior, and going to Jim's was a treat. Obviously, it's small town diner food, which is never fantastic but it's the best "bad" food I've ever had. Always a must when I come back to visit family. I here for a 4 day visit and I've already eaten there twice. The servers are friendly and not afraid to start a conversation with you, very Valley-like. Always one of my favourites. Please never change the food!!

Best little diner. New owners are super friendly. I had a cheeseburger and for $2 more you can upgrade the burger to a real home made hamburger pattie from fresh ground beef. It was DELICIOUS!

First time at this restaurant. Upon looking at the menu I thought the prices were amazing. Me and my girlfriend both had food and bill was under $18. The food also came to our table in about 5 minutes and tasted good. I feel bad because of the lack of tip option on the debit machine. I had to cancel the transaction and ask to have money added to the bill. Most people probably just tap and walk. Wait staff probably hates that but for the consumer this place deserves 5 stars.

Whether you are looking to eat in, or take out, there are a variety of options for you to choose from.The menu has several pages of options for every meal, as well as pictures of the dishes.The staff is friendly, efficient and usually very helpful. The food is excellent and the wait times are reasonable (often less than you would expect).No matter what time of day you go looking for a place to eat, Jim's will definitely have something for you.

Comfort food. Good portions. Good price. Efficient staff.
